A Legal aid Counsel (LAC) is a dedicated Advocate appointed by Government, under District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), to provide free legal assistance to individuals who cannot afford legal fees of Advocates. In Delhi, a person having Rs.25,000/- is eligible for legal aid counsel.
